
Fruit skewers with chocolate avocado dip

Let the kids choose their favourite fruit for these fun skewers, dunked in a creamy chocolate avocado dip. It's easy to make this recipe vegan – just use dairy-free milk.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 1 punnet of strawberries, stalks removed
- 2 kiwis, chopped into chunks
- 0.5 pineapple, chopped into chunks
- 1 handful of white grapes
- 2 ripe avocados, for the dip
- 5 tbsp of raw cacao or cocoa powder, for the dip
- 4 tbsp of maple syrup, for the dip
- 100 ml of milk, dairy or non-dairy
Method
Step 1
For the fruit skewers: cut your favourite combination of fruit into cubes and thread onto skewers.Step 2
For the dip: whizz the avocado, cacao and maple syrup in a blender or mini chopper until smooth. Add the milk bit by bit until it reaches dipping consistency.Step 3
Decant into bowls (save some in the fridge for later if there's too much) and serve the skewers alongside for dipping.
