We’ve taken an Aperol spritz and given it a twist. The bitterness and slightly spiced Martini Riserva blends well with the citrusy, slightly vanillary gin. Serve with plenty of ice and garnish with half an orange wheel.

Ingredients

  • 25 ml of bombay sapphire™ gin
  • 15 ml of cocktail bitters
  • 1 slice of orange peel, to garnish
  • 15 ml of honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 part water)
  • 25 ml of tonic water, chilled

Method

  • Step 1

    Pour all the liquids (except the tonic) into a large wine glass, then fill with ice cubes

  • Step 2

    Top with the tonic, stir gently to mix, then garnish with half an orange wheel.
