
Grilled Honeyed Lime Salmon

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp of rowse honey pure & natural
- 4 x 150g skinless salmon fillets
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 bag of salad, to serve
- 1 tbsp of dijon mustard
- 1 lime, the finely grated zest and juice of
- 2 tbsp of dry white wine
- 2 tsp of olive oil
- 1 pinch of black pepper
Method
Step 1
Make the marinade by mixing together honey, mustard, lime zest, lime juice, wine, and olive oil in a shallow dish. Add salmon fillets and spoon over the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.Step 2
Preheat the grill to medium hot. Arrange the salmon fillets under the grill. Cook for 5-6 minutes, basting from time to time with the marinade.Step 3
Serve with salad or lightly cooked vegetables.Step 4
Tip: Instead of wine, you can use white wine vinegar, plus an extra teaspoon of honey. The marinade is also perfect for fresh tuna steaks or any fresh white fish fillets.
