Grilled Honeyed Lime Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of rowse honey pure & natural
  • 4 x 150g skinless salmon fillets
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 bag of salad, to serve
  • 1 tbsp of dijon mustard
  • 1 lime, the finely grated zest and juice of
  • 2 tbsp of dry white wine
  • 2 tsp of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Make the marinade by mixing together honey, mustard, lime zest, lime juice, wine, and olive oil in a shallow dish. Add salmon fillets and spoon over the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • Step 2

    Preheat the grill to medium hot. Arrange the salmon fillets under the grill. Cook for 5-6 minutes, basting from time to time with the marinade.
  • Step 3

    Serve with salad or lightly cooked vegetables.
  • Step 4

    Tip: Instead of wine, you can use white wine vinegar, plus an extra teaspoon of honey. The marinade is also perfect for fresh tuna steaks or any fresh white fish fillets.
