This pesto by Tastemade is ideal for using up all those leftover herb stems.

Ingredients

  • 50 g of stems of mixed soft herbs (mint, parsley, basil, dill and coriander work well)
  • 50 ml of olive oil
  • 25 ml of pine nuts
  • 25 g of parmesan
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced
  • 0.25 lemon, juiced
  • 0.5 salt

Method

  • Step 1

    In a food processor blitz together all the ingredients until smooth, then store in a sealed container in the fridge. Use in dips, pastas, sauces, or even freeze for later.
