Ingredients
- 100ml sloe gin, gin or whisky
- 100ml port
- 100ml sugar syrup
- 100ml lemon juice
- 1L medium-dry cider
- 2 thyme sprigs, plus extra to garnish
- 6 lemon slices, to garnish
Method
Step 1
Put the sloe gin, port, sugar syrup, lemon juice, cider and thyme sprigs into a saucepan and warm over a medium heat, until it comes to a simmer – don’t let it boil.Step 2
Reduce the heat to low and warm for a few mins more; stir. Strain into glasses, finishing each with a lemon slice and thyme sprig.
