Iced Chocolate

By OcadoPublished on 01 September 2026We’re loving the iced chocolate trend. A tasty treat whatever your age, it’s simple to make and a great way to cool down in the heat. We’ve made ours with Knoops chocolate flakes, and recommend going all out for with squirty cream.

Ingredients

  • 600ml your favourite milk, plus extra to top up if needed
  • 7 tbsp chocolate flakes, we used Knoops 43%, plus extra to sprinkle
  • 3 tbsp chocolate sauce, we used M&S Belgian Chocolate Sauce
  • Squirty cream
  • 3 x mini chocolate ice creams, optional

Method

  • Step 1

    Put half the milk in a heatproof jug and stir in the chocolate flakes. Microwave for 2-3 mins, stirring halfway through until the chocolate has just melted, stir well until combined then set aside.

  • Step 2

    Drizzle the chocolate sauce around the inside of each glass then fill with ice cubes.

  • Step 3

    Add the remaining milk to the jug and stir well.

  • Step 4

    Pour the chocolate drink between the glasses then top with squirty cream, a sprinkling of extra chocolate flakes then top with a mini ice cream, if you like.
