Ingredients

  • 250 g of linguine or spaghetti
  • 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of very lazy chilli paste
  • 2 lemons, zest and juice
  • 2 tbsp of very lazy chopped garlic
  • 300 g of cooked king prawns, peeled
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 sprinkle of parmesan, freshly shaved

Method

  • Step 1

    Bring a large pan of water to a rolling boil.
  • Step 2

    Add the linguine, and cook for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain thoroughly.
  • Step 3

    Heat half the oil in a large pan and add the chilli paste, lemon zest and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes and add the prawns. Cook for 3 minutes or until the prawns are heated through.
  • Step 4

    Add the lemon juice and remaining oil. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
  • Step 5

    Add the mix to the drained pasta and toss thoroughly. Serve immediately, sprinkled with the Parmesan.
  • Step 6

    If you like things hot add a further teaspoon of chilli paste.
