Ingredients
- 2 (or more) maraschino cherries, plus 2 tsp syrup (approx.) from the jar
- 2 tsp Angostura Orange Bitters (approx.)
- 175ml bourbon
- 75ml red vermouth
Method
Step 1
Put 2 glasses in the freezer for 15 mins to chill. Remove and add 1 cherry to each.Step 2
Spoon about 1 tsp syrup into each glass and add a few shakes of orange bitters.Step 3
Put plenty of ice in a jug and pour over the bourbon and vermouth. Stir until very chilled, then strain into the glasses. Slide a few extra cherries onto cocktail sticks to add a finishing flourish.
