Ingredients

  • 45 ml of tequila
  • 7.5 ml of sugar syrup
  • 20 g of coarse sea salt (optional)
  • 1 lime wedge, to garnish
  • 30 ml of cointreau
  • 25 ml of lime juice

Method

  • Step 1

    Add the liquid ingredients to a shaker with some ice, and shake vigorously to chill.

  • Step 2

    Salt half the rim of a tumbler, if you like, then fill with ice. Strain the chilled cocktail into the tumbler and garnish with a wedge of lime.
