Ingredients

  • 50 ml of smirnoff vodka
  • 150 ml of schweppes ginger ale
  • 10 ml of lime, juice, plus 1 wedge to garnish
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 handful of ice cubes
  • 1 tsp of ginger syrup, optional

Method

  • Step 1

    Add ice to the glass, make sure to fill it up to the top.

  • Step 2

    Pour 50ml Smirnoff vodka over ice.

  • Step 3

    Add the lime juice.

  • Step 4

    Top up with Schweppes Ginger Ale.

  • Step 5

    Garnish with a lime wedge spiked with cloves, add a stick of cinnamon and give a quick stir.

  • Step 6

    PRO: Add a teaspoon of ginger syrup to super spice your mule! Best served in a mug or highball glass.
