Ingredients
- 1 (220g) ball brioche dough, defrosted in its wrapper
- 1 (100g) bag chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp milk (approx.), for brushing
- 1 tbsp golden caster sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground coffee
- 2 tbsp (approx.) unsalted butter, melted
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4. Divide the dough into 16 pieces. Push 3 or 4 chocolate chips into the centre of each, then pinch the dough closed around them. Roll into small balls and pop onto a baking tray. Cover and leave somewhere warm to rise for an hour.Step 2
Brush with milk, then bake for 14-18 mins or until golden; remove from the oven and allow to cool a little. Meanwhile, combine the sugar, cinnamon and coffee in a bowl.Step 3
Once cool enough to handle, brush the baked brioche bites with a little melted butter, and roll in the sugar mix.
