Ingredients
- 50 g of whitworths chopped dates
- 150 g of peanut butter
- 100 g of runny honey
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp of salt
- 300 g of rolled oats
- 1 pack of whitworths caramel fruit & nut mix
Method
Step 1
In a mixer blend the dates adding 5 tbsp of hot water until fully blended. Add the peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract and salt. Mix until combined.Step 2
Add the rolled oats and a packet of Whitworths Caramel Fruit & Nut Mix and mix with a wooden spoon until combined. The mixture will seem dry at first but it will combine - no need for additional water.Step 3
Cover a square baking pan with a baking paper.Step 4
Pour your mixture into the pan and cover with another piece of baking paper. Use a back of a measuring cup or a glass to flatten the mixture.Step 5
Chill in the refrigerator for 1½ hrs then cut into bars.
