For an aromantic festive drink look no further than a traditional old fashioned. This long-standing cocktail has been served since the 1800’s and is still much-loved today. Use up this nutty, creamy Jameson black barrel whiskey with a hint of vanilla in this classic cocktail, served with bitters over ice and garnished with orange peel. Ingredients
- 50 ml of jameson irish whiskey
- 5 ml of sugar syrup
- 2 dashes of cocktail bitters
- 1 slice of orange peel, to garnish
Method
Step 1
Fill a tall glass or cocktail shaker with ice. Add the whiskey, sugar syrup and bitters. Stir until ice-cold.Step 2
Add some ice cubes to a rocks glass, strain the chilled cocktail into the glass, then garnish with the orange peel.
