A humble Spanish tapas dish which literally translates as 'bread with tomatoes'. Made with just five simple ingredients, use ripe vine tomatoes alongside a good-quality extra virgin olive oil for best results. Enjoy as part of a laid-back al fresco lunch with friends in the summer months.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 2 large vine tomatoes, very ripe, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- 6 slices of crusty bread, halved
- 2 tbsp of sherry vinegar
Method
Step 1
Add the tomatoes and garlic to a blender and pulse until combined.Step 2
Season with salt, add the olive oil and the vinegar, and stir gently to combine.Step 3
Toast or grill the bread until lightly charred.Step 4
Spread 1tbsp of the tomato mixture onto each slice of bread. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and serve.
