
Peach, Spelt and Agave Smoothie

Nutty, nourishing spelt flakes add fibre and protein to this breakfast smoothie, and can be easier to digest, too. Make this recipe vegan or dairy-free by using plant-based milk as the liquid. Frozen banana is a great quick-fix ingredient to have on standby – simply peel and throw in the freezer when they're getting too ripe in the fruit bowl.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 120 ml of milk, of your choice
- 0.5 banana, frozen
- 0.5 orange, juice
- 1 tbsp of agave syrup
- 2 peaches(we used tinned)
- 40 g of spelt flakes, or use rolled oats
Method
Step 1
Add all the ingredients to a high-power blender and let it sit for 5-10 mins so the oats and chia seeds can soak.Step 2
Blend until smooth.Step 3
If needed, add more banana to thicken or more milk to thin.Step 4
Swirl in a squeeze of agave.
