Penne with Basil Pesto, Cherry Tomatoes & Ricotta

The key to delicious Italian cuisine is simplicity. Truly delicious flavour can be acheived with just a few quality ingredients and this quick and colourful pasta dish will remind everyone of Italy!

Ingredients

  • 400 g of penne
  • 275 g of cherry tomatoes
  • 190 g of sacla' classic basil pesto
  • 4 tbsp of ricotta cheese

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions until al dente.
  • Step 2

    Slice the cherry tomatoes in half.
  • Step 3

    Once the pasta is ready, drain and return to the pan.
  • Step 4

    Add the whole jar of Sacla' Classic Basil Pesto, season with a little black pepper and mix well.
  • Step 5

    Stir through the tomatoes and divide among four bowl. Top each with a dollop of ricotta and serve with some freshly torn basil leaves.
