Percy Pig Fudge

Percy Pig Fudge

By Tastemade
Published on 28 March 2022
These fudgy squares, made with dark chocolate, condensed milk and Percy Pigs, only need 15 minutes of hands-on time. Better still, there's no oven involved either (just a short amount of time on the hob), so get the little ones involved with helping you to whip them up, perhaps. They make great nibbles for a children's party.

Ingredients

  • 350 g of dark chocolate (70%), roughly chopped
  • 1 can of condensed milk (approx. 397g)
  • 55 g of unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence
  • 100 g of almonds, roughly chopped
  • 16 percy pigs

Method

  • Step 1

Line an 8” x 8” baking pan with parchment paper and set aside ready to pour the fudge into. In a heatproof glass bowl, set over a saucepan of simmering water, add the chocolate, condensed milk and butter. Melt over a gentle heat until glossy, stirring regularly (approx. 6-8 mins).
  • Step 2

When it begins to thicken, remove from the heat. Add the vanilla essence, chopped almonds and diced Percy Pigs, then stir well.
  • Step 3

Transfer mixture into the lined baking tin and smooth over. Top with 16 Percy Pigs and place into the fridge for a minimum of 3 hrs to set.
