Perky Pineapple Dessert

By Anchor Butter
Published on 04 November 2022
This pineapple dessert recipe is the perfect way to top off an incredible BBQ. Slathered in cinnamon and maple syrup and topped with Anchor squirty cream, this recipe is an original idea to surprise your guests with. A great bonus? It’s easy to grill on the dying embers of the BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 1 grated chocolate, (optional, to serve)
  • 1 whole pineapple, skin removed and cut into chunky fingers
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 100 g of anchor block butter
  • 1 anchor squirty cream, (optional, to serve)
  • 75 ml of maple syrup

Method

  • Step 1

Just because the coals are dying out doesn't mean the BBQ is over! Pop a skillet/griddle pan on the BBQ to heat up.
  • Step 2

Add your Anchor butter, cinnamon and maple syrup to the pan and let it melt while giving it a good stir.
  • Step 3

Add your sliced pineapple fingers to the melted sauce and cook for 8-10 mins until golden. Flip them halfway through to fully coat with the sticky sauce.
  • Step 4

Once cooked, plate up the pineapple fingers. Drizzle over any leftover sticky sauce and serve with Anchor squirty cream and chocolate.
