Pink Cadillac Cocktail

This pink cadillac cocktail is a gutsy, sweet-sour strawberry tipple that looks the part and tastes delicious. Use a strawberry-flavoured gin and strawberry syrup of choice (any leftover syrup can be used in other cocktails or desserts), along with tangy lemon and lime juice for contrast and soda water for bubbles. Ingredients
- 50 ml of beefeater pink strawberry gin
- 25 ml of strawberry syrup
- 25 ml of lemon juice
- 25 ml of lime juice
- 100 ml of soda water, to top up
- 4 maraschino cherries, to garnish
- 1 lemon, sliced, to garnish
Method
Step 1
Put 2 coupe glasses in the freezer for 30 mins to chill them.Step 2
Combine the gin, strawberry syrup, lemon juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with another handful of ice; shake for 10 secs until the shaker is cold to the touch.Step 3
Discard the ice from the coupe glasses. Strain in the cocktail and top up with soda water. Garnish with 2 maraschino cherries and a slice of lemon in each glass.
