
Puff Dumplings

Golden, flaky and packed with aromatic hoisin pork (or chicken), these cute Puff Dumplings from OcadoLife food editor Lauren Hoffman are made for sharing. Ideal for parties or picnics, simply bake in the air fryer or oven until crisp and deeply golden. Time and servings

Ingredients
- 250g pork or chicken mince
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp runny honey
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 2 salad onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp groundnut oil
- 1 (320g) sheet ready-made puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- 250ml chilli dipping sauce, to serve (optional)
Method
Step 1
Mix together the mince, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic granules and salad onions in a bowl.Step 2
Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the mince mixture until cooked through and golden. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.Step 3
Using a cutter or glass, stamp out 9 x 8 cm discs from the sheet of puff pastry. Divide the mince between each, then fold over and seal the edges, pleating as you go.Step 4
Brush with beaten egg and air-fry at 200°C for 15-20 mins or until puffed and golden (or oven bake at 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6). Serve with the dipping sauce on the side.
