This quick banoffee pie recipe is super simple and ever so tasty. A family favourite that’s always popular with kids, this recipe is particularly perfect for dinner parties, too. Ingredients
- 4 small bananas, chopped
- 75 g of sprinkle dark chocolate, grated to decorate
- 250 g of digestive biscuits, crushed to crumbs
- 100 g of butter, melted
- 1 tin of carnation caramel
- 300 ml of whipping cream, whipped to soft peaks
Method
Step 1
Tip the biscuit crumbs into a bowl. Add the butter and mix well, then press into the base and sides of a 23cm tart tin. Chill for 10 mins.Step 2
Gently spread the caramel over the base.Step 3
Place the bananas over the caramel. Spoon the cream over the bananas and finish with grated chocolate. Chill until ready to serve
