Ingredients

  • 450g frozen sweet cherries, pitted
  • 150g frozen banana slices
  • 100g full-fat greek-style yoghurt
  • 50g runny honey (optional)
  • 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 bananas, sliced, to serve (optional)
  • 2 handfuls milk or dark chocolate chips, to serve (optional)

Method

  • Step 1

    Working quickly to stop the fruit defrosting, tip all the main ingredients into the bowl of a large food processor. Blend for 2-3 mins, using a spatula to scrape down the sides and stirring briefly once or twice, as needed, until the mixture is lump-free and smooth.
  • Step 2

    If the fro-yo isn’t too soft, serve right away with fresh banana slices and chocolate chips (if using). Or freeze until firm (approx. 1 hr). This will keep frozen for up to 3 months.
