Ingredients
- 450g frozen sweet cherries, pitted
- 150g frozen banana slices
- 100g full-fat greek-style yoghurt
- 50g runny honey (optional)
- 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 bananas, sliced, to serve (optional)
- 2 handfuls milk or dark chocolate chips, to serve (optional)
Method
Step 1
Working quickly to stop the fruit defrosting, tip all the main ingredients into the bowl of a large food processor. Blend for 2-3 mins, using a spatula to scrape down the sides and stirring briefly once or twice, as needed, until the mixture is lump-free and smooth.Step 2
If the fro-yo isn’t too soft, serve right away with fresh banana slices and chocolate chips (if using). Or freeze until firm (approx. 1 hr). This will keep frozen for up to 3 months.
