When babies are teething they get sore gums and are often put off eating for a while. Sucking on something cold soothes sore gums, so a good idea is to make fresh fruit ice lollies using pureed fruit, which you can mix with fruit juice or yoghurt.

Ingredients

  • 60 g of raspberries
  • 0.25 watermelon
  • 50 g of icing sugar

Method

  • Step 1

    Cut the flesh from the watermelon and remove the seeds.
  • Step 2

    Blend the watermelon and the raspberries together. Strain through a sieve and stir in the icing sugar to taste.
  • Step 3

    Pour into lolly moulds and freeze.
