
Raw Orange, Chocolate & Hazelnut Bites

Looking for an afternoon energy boost? Whip up these protein-packed balls made with juicy medjool dates, hazelnuts, coconut and cacao powder – keep a batch of these in the fridge so you'll always have an easy post-workout snack on standby. Cacao is the unprocessed, raw form of cocoa, often used as a healthier alternative.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 100 g of hazelnuts
- 100 g of medjool dates
- 100 g of desiccated coconut
- 4 tbsp of cacao powder
- 3 tbsp of coconut oil
- 0.5 orange, juice
- 1 pinch of salt
Method
Step 1
Place the hazelnuts in a food processor, blitz for 1 min.Step 2
Add the medjool dates, desiccated coconut, raw cacao powder, coconut oil, orange zest and a pinch of salt. Process until fully combined – it should form a clump.Step 3
Shape into 14 balls and roll through any remaining coconut to coat. Pop in the fridge to firm up. These keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
