The martini – one of best known and best loved of all cocktails. Part of the attraction must be that the martini is so easy to riff off. There’s the espresso martini, the chocolate martini, and the appletini, to mention just three. Here comes the Rhubartini, it’s made with Aber Falls Rhubarb & Ginger gin. The strawberries introduce a distinctly summery feel, while the rhubarb and ginger infused gin brings to mind winter puddings – so this cocktail can be drunk year round. Don’t forget to shake well, as you’ll find the egg white adds a rich, creamy consistency to the drink.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 4 fresh strawberries
- 50 ml of aber falls rhubarb & ginger gin
- 25 ml of fresh lemon juiced
- 15 ml of sugar syrup
- 0.5 egg white
- 1 pinch of fresh cracked black pepper
Method
Step 1
Add all ingredients to a shaker along with ice and shake very hard.Step 2
Double strain into a chilled martini glass and grind a small amount of black pepper onto the surface of the drink.
