Ingredients

  • 2 drops of food colouring
  • 45 g of unsalted butter or margarine
  • 300 g of marshmallows
  • 150 g of kellogg's rice krispies
  • 1 pack of assorted sweets, to decorate
  • 2 tbsp of icing sugar

Method

  • Step 1

In a large saucepan melt the butter over a low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from the heat.
  • Step 2

Add the Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal. Stir until well coated.
  • Step 3

Using a large lightly greased spoon divide warm cereal mixture into portions. Using butteredhands shape each portion into a ball.
  • Step 4

Put icing sugar into a small bowl and simply add water until thick. Add a few drops of food colouring to get the desired colours. Add extra icing sugar to thicken or a little more water to make more runny if necessary. Use the icing to attach two balls together, forming a bunny body and head. Repeat with the remaining balls. Use the icing to attach the pink cardboard ears.
  • Step 5

Decorate with icing and assorted sweets for eyes, mouth, whiskers and tail.
