
Rosemary Turkey Sourdough Melt

Take your leftover turkey sandwiches up a notch this year with delicious sourdough and melted cheese. Rosemary is a strong flavour so you don't need much in this recipe – you could swap for sage leaves or fresh oregano, if you have it. We've used emmental cheese but gouda works well tooTime and servings

Ingredients
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 4 slices of cooked turkey, leftovers
- 2 tbsp of stuffing, leftovers
- 2 tbsp of cranberry sauce
- 2 slices of emmental cheese
- 1 pinch of fresh rosemary, leaves, finely chopped
Method
Step 1
Lightly butter one side of 2 slices of sourdough bread, and place butter-side down in a lightly greased, medium-hot, non-stick pan.Step 2
Carefully top with a few slices of leftover turkey, a little stuffing, a spoonful of cranberry sauce, a scattering of finely chopped rosemary leaves and a slice of emmental, or other melty cheese.Step 3
Butter two more slices of sourdough and put them on top of the filling butter-side up. Gently press them down with a fish slice or spatula until the bottom slice has turned golden.Step 4
Carefully turn them over, and repeat until done.
