Ingredients
- 150 g of dried tagliatelle
- 6 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 0.5 tbsp of dried oregano
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
Method
Step 1
Place a pan of salted water over a high heat and bring to the boil. Cook the tagliatelle according to packet instructions. Drain the pasta, reserving 50ml of pasta water and set aside.Step 2
Place a frying pan over a medium heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the chopped tomatoes, garlic cloves and oregano. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the tomatoes have softened.Step 3
Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper, and add the pasta water and the cooked tagliatelle to the pan. Fold the pasta through the tomatoes and serve immediately.
