This indulgent Singleton Affogato recipe adds a splash of whisky for a warming kick. The original version of the affogato comes from Italy and pairs two Italian juggernauts – ice cream and espresso. This one might feel a little more like an Irish Coffee with its splash of Singleton scotch. The rich flavours of chocolate and hazelnut work perfectly with the earthy aroma of coffee beans, which is why this recipe uses Hackney Gelato’s Chocolate and Roasted Hazelnut flavour ice cream. If you’re really treating yourself, we recommend garnishing your drink with a bar of Lindt chocolate. We did say it was indulgent. Time and servings
