Ingredients
- 1 tbsp horseradish cream
- 300g crème fraîche
- 2 lemons, 1 zested and juiced, 1 cut into wedges
- 15g butter (optional)
- 6 slices rustic bread, such as wheat and rye
- 300g smoked salmon
- 1(80g) bag watercress
Method
Step 1
Mix the horseradish cream with the crème fraîche, lemon juice and zest, until combined; season to taste.Step 2
Butter the bread, if liked, and put on individual plates with the smoked salmon and a dollop of horseradish cream. Serve with a handful of watercress and a wedge of lemon for squeezing over.
