Add a flavour of the Med to your barbecue with our Spanish-style burger, inspired by a recipe from pioneering burger restaurant Haché.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 2 slices of grilled red pepper, drained of any oil
  • 1 vine tomato, sliced
  • 1 quarter pound beef burger
  • 1 disc of goat's cheese, around 2cm thick
  • 2 slices of red onion
  • 1 ciabatta bun

Method

  • Step 1

    Grill the quarterpounder for around 5-6 minutes on each side for medium, and 8-9 minutes for well done.
  • Step 2

    Slice the ciabatta roll in half and place the burge on one side. Top with grilled red pepper, tangy goat's cheese, a sliced of fresh tomato, sweet red onion and a dollop of mayonnaise.
