
Tandoori Salmon

This simple and quick recipe makes a delicious and exciting main dish, with it's vibrant red colour and subtle (or strong if you'd like it!) spice.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 80 g of low fat greek-style yogurt
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
- 0.5 tbsp of cooking fat
- 2 salmon fillets, skin-on, rinsed and patted dry
- 1 heaped tbsp of tandoori seasoning
- 1 pinch of salt
- 0.5 tsp of tomato purée
- 0.5 lemon, juice of
Method
Step 1
Mix together the yogurt, garlic, tandoori seasoning and season with salt and pepper.Step 2
Add in the Flora Cuisine, then stir in tomato puree and lemon juice, mixing thoroughly.Step 3
Place salmon fillets, skin side-down, in a baking dish. Spread the yogurt mixture over the fish.Step 4
Preheat a medium grill. Cook the salmon under the grill for 15–20 minutes until cooked through. Don’t worry if the salmon blackens slightly when grilled; this adds to the flavour. Serve with green beans and new potatoes.
