  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 100g greek yoghurt
  • 2 large free-range eggs
  • 1 tsp salted butter
  • 1 tbsp chilli oil
  • 1 pinch aleppo pepper flakes
  • 5 (approx.) dill sprigs
  • 1 slice sourdough, buttered (gluten free if required)

Method

3 steps
  1. Step 1

In a single serving dish, stir the garlic and sea salt into the greek yoghurt.

  2. Step 2

Poach the eggs in a pan of simmering water for 3-4 mins or until cooked to your liking; drain well and sit on top of the yoghurt.

  3. Step 3

Meanwhile, melt the butter with the chilli oil and aleppo pepper flakes in a small pan until sizzling; immediately pour over the eggs. Top with dill sprigs and, if you like, serve with toasted, buttered sourdough (gluten free if required).
