
Västerbotten Crème & Cloudberry Jam Sandwich

A delicious aperitif or starter; the tart and
sweet cloudberry jam perfectly compliments and lifts the rich cheese crème made
by using the king of Swedish cheese – Vasterbottenost. The texture and flavour
of Leksands crispbread binds the flavours together and makes this sandwich a

Ingredients
- 1 tsp of cloudberry jam
- 75 g of västerbotten, grated
- 50 g of philadelphia cheese
- 50 g of crème fraiche
- 1 pinch of freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp of fresh chives, finely chopped
- 1 leksands original rye
Method
Step 1
Mix the grated cheese with cream cheese and creme fraiche until a smooth crème, season with freshly ground pepper. The Västerbotten cheese is quite salty so you should not need to add any more.Step 2
Spread onto your crispbread. If you find that you have more topping than you need - the rest can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of days.Step 3
Finish with a dollop of jam and fresh chives. Serve immediately.
