You can add a whole host of toppings to your morning porridge, so while this recipe uses blueberries, feel free to add your other favourite fruits.

Ingredients

  • 50 g of porridge oats
  • 350 ml of almond milk
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 50 g of blueberries

Method

  • Step 1

    Put the oats in a saucepan with the almond milk, coconut oil and cinnamon. Cook over a low-medium heat for 3–4 minutes.
  • Step 2

    Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup until your porridge looks creamy.
  • Step 3

    Serve with a handful of fresh blueberries on the top.
