Switch up your usual takeaway for homemade pitta bread pizzas instead. These use crispy wholemeal pittas topped with sweet onion chutney, creamy mozzarella and juicy semi-dried tomatoes to make a speedy supper or lunch for everyone in the family. You can use this handy pizza base for any number of tasty creations. Ingredients

  • 6 wholemeal pitta breads, toasted
  • 2 (125g) mozzarella balls, sliced
  • 6 tbsp of caramelised onion chutney
  • 140 g of semi-dried cherry tomatoes
  • 10 g of basil leaves

Method

  • Step 1

    Set the grill to medium. Spread each toasted pitta with 1 tbsp chutney, top with mozzarella and tomatoes.
  • Step 2

    Grill under a medium heat until melted and crisp.
  • Step 3

    Scatter with basil leaves and slice to serve.
