Switch up your usual takeaway for homemade pitta bread pizzas instead. These use crispy wholemeal pittas topped with sweet onion chutney, creamy mozzarella and juicy semi-dried tomatoes to make a speedy supper or lunch for everyone in the family. Ingredients
- 6 wholemeal pitta breads, toasted
- 2 (125g) mozzarella balls, sliced
- 6 tbsp of caramelised onion chutney
- 140 g of semi-dried cherry tomatoes
- 10 g of basil leaves
Method
Step 1
Set the grill to medium. Spread each toasted pitta with 1 tbsp chutney, top with mozzarella and tomatoes.Step 2
Grill under a medium heat until melted and crisp.Step 3
Scatter with basil leaves and slice to serve.
