Using two Weetabix and milk (obvs), as well as more usual cake ingredients, such as self-raising flour and eggs, it also happens to be very simple to make. Ingredients

  • 2 weetabix
  • 200 ml of semi-skimmed milk
  • 100 g of sultanas
  • 100 g of self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp of ground mixed spice
  • 2 tsp of canderel original low-calorie sweetener powder or 180g sugar
  • 2 large eggs

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4 and line a loaf tin with non-stick baking paper.
  • Step 2

    Put the Weetabix in a large bowl and pour in the milk. Let them get soggy for 2-3 mins, then mash with a fork.
  • Step 3

    Whisk in the sultanas, self-raising flour, mixed spice, sweetener and eggs, then spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf tin and bake for 1 hour.
  • Step 4

    Let the cake cool on a wire rack before adding your favourite toppings.
