Brand
A liquid ode to our past, 19 Crimes is inspired by those who, beginning in 1788, were transported to Australia for a life of hard labour. Many did not survive the journey. For the sea-beaten people who made it ashore, a new world awaited.
As pioneers in a harsh frontier colony, they forged fresh pathways and built new lives from their chequered pasts, brick by brick.
This wine honours the history they wrote and the culture they built.

the 2021 vintage not so good as previous years
Have loved previous vintages. This 2021 is much rougher. Wont be bothering with any more( and we normally drink a lot if this wine)
Good red wine
We prefer Rioja, but this is actually delicious, creamy and fruity. Would buy again.
Easy drinkable wine
Was not expecting a lot from this, I think it was on offer, but actually was pleasantly surprised and found it had good body and easy to drink
Really not a good cab sav
I think one of the 19 crimes was against wine making. For the albeit low price you can find much better cabernet sauvignons.
Fruity all rounder
Yes it has a proper cork so get your waiter's friend out and the 2021 vintage I got is 13.5% ABV, not 14%.. A good clean mild tobacco smell to the cork which you'd expect from a wine this young. Poured into the glass the first thing you get is the strong smell of black cherry like a fresh black forest gateau. The flavour is very fruity with cherry and blackcurrant and some tannins in the mouthfeel but still very drinkable. This is a bottle of wine that is easy to drink without food. It chills very well and the fruitiness survives at fridge temperature so would be really refreshing on a hot summers day. Good value for money on 2 for £15 deal. I might buy a case and a half before it runs out.
5 stars because
this is my go to red wine, its is easy drinking, smooth and good value for money.
