Brand
A liquid ode to our past, 19 Crimes is inspired by those who, beginning in 1788, were transported to Australia for a life of hard labour. Many did not survive the journey. For the sea-beaten people who made it ashore, a new world awaited.
As pioneers in a harsh frontier colony, they forged fresh pathways and built new lives from their chequered pasts, brick by brick.
This wine honours the history they wrote and the culture they built.

Offered this instead of the coffee one
I am reviewing this because I ordered the coffee flavour and have been offered this on today's receipt. I will refuse it immediately upon delivery because I have tried this in the past and it is a very weak and watery flavour with a sweet edge (ie. definitely nothing like the rich dry taste of the coffee one). I have also now missed out on the offer price of the other one so all in all, very disappointed.
my favourite
This has to be my favourite atm. Fruity & a little sweet without being too sweet. Quite expensive but I stock up when its on offer
A substitution
I wanted the coffee version but was sent this instead. Its drinkable if a bit sweet.
too sweet
Not sticky but sweet red. I personally do not like it.
My new fav
Try this with a vintage cheddar and it tastes so beautiful. This is one of those wines that is almost velvety!
