Heartbreaking
Have always loved these and haven't had for a while ..had 1 and put the whole box straight in the bin, absolutely terrible, no resemblance to the original, why why why must they change and destroy everything...tasted absolutely vile and the texture was like putty I'm heartbroken and absolutely livid...
Not Like They Used To Be!
I think this might be the last time I buy After Eights for Christmas. As other reviews have pointed out, the filling is very fondant like and chocolate is not as dark. I also think they are smaller than they used to be. It's a shame, because these used to be great after dinner.
what happened?!
Shockingly bad. Dont know the history/story behind why such an iconic chocolate changed so much, but its not for the better . The new flavour is waaay more spearmint, and tastes like toothpaste. Probably the shock of it intensifies the change, but its not a good change, it makes it taste and feel cheap & nasty. Still cant get over how the idea made it through from conception to reality Thats one clever salesperson Just a shame they felt the need, and that they picked this poor confectionery to unleash their egos upon.
Not the same
Agree with everyone else, they are just not as good as they used to be. the mint is a kind of chewy texture now, not like a fondant.
yummy mint thins

ok-ish
