Great for night time
I use these at night. I'm a size 12 - 14 and they are soft and comfortable. They are very thin when dry but bulk out if wet. Fine for in bed but would notice under tight trousers if you had an accident. They can absorb a whole medium size wee (but can leak if it's a very big accident) Feel dry instantly. (If I'm not wearing one and have an accident I will wake up myself immediately after starting to wee as the wetness wakes me instantly, if wearing one of these I dont even realise I've had an accident until I wake up naturally as I never feel anything, just dry) Great protection for a peaceful nights sleep Looks like pull up nappies. Not knickers
The smell
I wish I’d paid proper attention to previous reviews. I will have to wash everything in the drawer I stored these in to get rid of the cloying perfume smell (even though the pack was unopened!). I did eventually open the pack and try one on but I have had to throw the rest away - I hate waste, but I was carrying the pervasive smell around with me.
Disastrous \- an expensive mistake
I’ve been using Tena Lady since a hospital-stay in June, and have had no problems. I thought I’d try these and they’ve leaked *twice* ruining a brand-new sheet, and causing extra washing, to say nothing of embarrassment. They smell awful, as one reviewer mentioned. Different patterns too, so you have to double-check which way round they go - all other brands have the back clearly marked, like a label. Absolutely hopeless.
Discreet and reliable
I get these for my mum who has bladder weakness due to having a ureteric stent fitted. She has tried many different incontinence pants, includings ones supplied by the hospital but she always comes back to these. These are discreet but effective and make her feel more confident when she goes out. It would appear that getting the right size is important. If the pants are too big they can leak around the legs, too small and they do not pull up high enough. Once the right size is established these are comfy and reliable and well worth the money.
Very disappointed
The first thing that hit me when I opened the pack was the sickly chemical perfume. Why do companies insist on using chemicals on something to be used in an intimate area. The design seemed good but unfortunately I won't be using these on a regular basis. I avoid chemicals where I can and in this case I consider they are unnecessary
Always reliable
Excellent - secure, no leaks, comfortable, not too bulky, stretchy, & not too expensive!
