Magic Ingredients
Thankfully, it’s a magic ingredient for aromatic cocktails and pink gin, also to spice up soft drinks and cooking with spice & herbal infusions for just few dashes, so it’s quite long-lasting and more than just an alcohol-based herbal tincture, which is lovely. However, as others mentioned that the over-sized label, which hasn’t even attached to the bottle entirely from the beginning, would be rather short-lasting... but it warns us that would not be genuine without the signature on the label, even when it got shabby, so the over-sized label is a little awkward to keep nicely for a long time, even though it’s easily peeled off for recycling. It’s like a long lived soul in a short life paper body... that’s philosophically deep! I personally enjoy pink gin tonic rather relaxing with several dashes of this Angostura Aromatic Bitters along with an organic Ceylon cinnamon quill, star anise and lime. I have also made my own alcohol-based herbal infusions before though, this one is well-balanced and so quick and easy, as it may take few months or years to make own herbal infusions. Colouring might be unnecessary, but it had been known for such a long for pink gin, so hesitating to deduct any points for tradition at the moment., but if there’s any other healthier option, it’ll be the best.
Best grown up no low alcohol drink
Mix a big slug of this with a tonic water and it has the seriousness of a proper alcoholic drink. Real contender to a G&T (and I'm very fond of G&T...)
Bitters for everything
I grew up (in country of origin) using this in everything we drank and cooked. I add to all my fruit juices and my meats. Makes such a difference. Really grateful this is stocked here also.
love this stuff
The only bitters that is easily available. Very versatile in cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. Try sparkling water, lime cordial and angostura over ice for a lovely long drink. The label is the same one that they have used for decades and because of that I can forgive that it is too long for the bottle. Everyone should have this in their cupboard.
great for champagne cocktails
As above (you only need sparking wine) for an excellent cocktail. Also a few drops in a glass of slimline tonic with ice is an excellent no calorie, no alcohol drink. The bottle lasts for ever!
Great for cocktails
Great for cocktails but the label is beyond stupid.
