Archers was inspired by the traditions of fruit schnapps in Central Europe. In Northern Europe people experimented with many ingredients, including vegetables, fruits and berries. They produced a drink called, "schnapps". However traditional schnapps have a harsh taste - Archers has mellowed the finest clean, crisp schnapps with natural freshness of peaches.

Sickly sweet
This is nothing like the schapps of Germany or Scandiavia. It is more like a liqueur,very sweet and syrupy. It didn't taste much of peach.

Lovely flavour but, no ingredients list!
What happened to the legal requirement to disclose the ingredients? Not helpful for allergy sufferers.

Delicious
I'd never had Archers until this Christmas and now I'm hooked! I used it to make a sex on the beach cocktail and it's become a firm favourite. It's so delicious you could also drink it neat, although at 18% you wouldn't want to drink too much neat. I don't generally like overly sweet things and I'd say the sweetness of this is just right.
