Historically Japanese beers were bitter and didn't pair well with food. After significant research Asahi recognised this wasn't what their consumers demanded and in 1987 Asahi Super Dry was born.
They brewed a beer to deliver a dry, crisp taste and quick, clean finish.
This distinctive dry taste is known as Karakuchi 辛口 (dry). A beer that would become Japan's No.1 beer.
Asahi Super Dry sold in the UK is now brewed to the authentic Japanese recipe, using superior ingredients and brewing standards.

102 degrees out, this is perfect
When water and electrolyte drinks will only go so far, this crisp cool Japanese beer is perfect. Have it with pretzels to top up the salt loss.
Very Nice
Very nice light and dry beer, excellent when ice cold.
like this very much
Not a beer drinker but great in the hot weather, good clean flavour
Refreshing
Good tasting beer
Refreshing and crisp
I was persuaded to try this, I don't usually like the taste of beers or lagers. Surprisngly (for me) light and refreshing. I initially bought the larger, single bottle, and that went down very nicely at the end of a hot, busy day, but the larger size was too much for me in one go, so now I have indulged in these smaller bottles. Bit on the expensive side, but good enough to entice me to buy again.
Beer for people who don't really like beer
This is the blandest beer ever, has no taste. Very similar to Peroni in its lack of flavour.
