Re\-freshing great taste
Lovely flavours, good alternative to alcohol - would recommend!
Tastes like soap
Smells better than it tastes, but that is a low bar. Tastes like soap, and not in any way like any kind of gin.
Pleasant enough, lemony
I received a sample for review. This was a bit sweet for me, and was quite lemony. I couldn’t detect many of the spiced notes. Having said this it was a decent drink with some ice and tonic
Non alcoholic alternative
Had this with lemonade and ice and made a very enjoyable drink. Think this will make an enjoyable drink in the summer.
Like a melted ice lolly….
I received this as a free sample to test. Unfortunately it lacked any depth of flavour and was quite watery. Similar in taste to a melted lemonade ice lolly. Disappointing given that Atopia’s other offerings are very pleasant
Unpleasant and expensive
As much as I wanted to like it, unfortunately I thought it was horrid. It tasted soapy, bitter and bland and the aftertaste was awful. I didn't think it tasted particularly spiced or very citrusy. Could definitely tell is was non-alcoholic, so if you're looking for something that still tastes at least semi-alcoholic, this isn't the one. The only saving grace may be that it *might* be improved with a mixer such as lemonade or elderflower tonic and lots of ice, as I did drink it neat. It could then possibly be a refreshing drink in the summer, but I won't be trying it again to find out!
