Mostly inedible
Used to be good quality, last couple of years they have been tough and grey. Avoid esp. At this price.
Lovely flavour
I love this. Unfortunately some can be very large and you end up with just a few parsnips to a bag. It's cheaper to buy fresh and get more for your money.
Too many uneven chunks
The bags usually consist of one or two recognisable looking parsnips but the majority are either very large chunks or thin slivers. I also found the hard core in the centre of the parsnips hadnt been removed. Wont buy again and wouldnt recommend
whats changed?
These used to be great, I dont know what theyve done but they are awful now - massive lumps that dont soften at all and dont taste good anymore. Shame.
Not as good as they used to be
The last two packets had some enormous pieces alongside tiny pieces leaving aside the difficulty of cooking such varied sizes the larger pieces were just woody. We now look elsewhere.
Ok for easy meals
can't say they are the best on the market, but good taste and ok portions.
