skin trouble
after 3weeks using this product, caused skin trouble all over my scalp, face and body. horrible
Washed the life out of my hair...
One star as it did help my scalp, but together with the shampoo it left my hair feeling dull, flat and just lacking any life! It just felt awful.... I persevered for a week and have chucked!
Doesn't do much conditioning
I usually like this brand when it comes to shampoos, but the conditioner has little effect on my hair.
only Conditioner which can calm my scalp down!
This conditioner is truly a God send for my scalp. I apply it to my hair after (different brand) coal tar Shampoo, comb my hair with it still in & only very light rinse works best on my scalp. Works much like a leave-in conditioner for me, after my shampoo. I simply can't live without this conditioner. Thank you Avalon.
Too thick and heavy
This conditioner is so thick it is really difficult to distribute through the hair. It feels like it doesn't really penetrate the hair shaft, just sits on top. After using this my hair felt dry but heavy and weighed down at the same time. It did not help my dandruff at all, my hair is looking pretty yuck right now so I will be moving on.
It works
I've tried loads of shampoos/conditioners that claim to treat flaky scalp and none have worked. I tried this without thinking for a moment that it would make any difference but it has immediately helped. I'm now going to try the shampoo. As another reviewer said, everyone is different but if you do suffer with an itchy scalp I would recommend trying this.
