Cut myself, not the foil.

I cut myself, not the foil. The box with the cutter doesnt work. I have thrown away the box & use scissors to cut the foil. Foil ok, box its in , not ok.

Fine really

The box is a bit naff but I just use this as a refill for the plastic dispenser from years back. Fits fine, rips fine, use it for wrapping food and covering baking trays. No problems.

Poor design

I’ve just tried this “new perfect cut every time kitchen foil. My experience was as follows: 1. Pulled on the peel here symbol to open the box. Result. Pulled away perfectly, box open. Tick. 2. Tried to remove the little sticker holding the roll together for storage. Result. Sticker kept tearing, messing about with sticky bits of paper sticking to me and trying to scratch off remaining to release the foil. Fail of design. Sticker needs to be stronger. 3. Placed the foil back in the box dispensing from the top. Tried to pull some foil sheet through, roll kept jamming. Tried putting roll in the other way, same problem. Looked for instructions on the box. Found a note saying new tabs to locate roll in place but with no instructions. Applied common sense and pushed the tabs through inwards to secure the roll. Result one end of the box fell apart. Design failure, glue not strong enough. No instructions on packaging. Tried to use the packaging as holding the broken end together manually, roll still jammed. Total rubbish, poor design, poor manufacturing process, poor instructions on the box. How can something so simple fail so dramatically. If I’d designed this I would have been sacked.
